Business Training: A NEAT Cure
The Western Colorado Latino Chamber of Commerce is proud to present A NEAT Cure: Better Health for Work and Life presented by Rebecca Weitzel, Wellness Coordinator, Hilltop Community Resources.
Rebecca Weitzel has spent the past 20 years in the health and fitness industry dedicated to helping others achieve their healthiest potential. Five years ago, she combined her education in psychology, certifications in personal training and wellness, and training in marketing to become the wellness coordinator for Hilltop Community Resources.
Hilltop’s wellness program has served as a model in the local community as a program with proven outcomes. It was recognized state-wide by the Colorado Psychological Association in 2014 and the Governor’s Council for Healthy and Active Lifestyles in 2015. Hilltop’s wellness initiatives were also recognized by the American Psychological Association, which honored Hilltop as one of five “Psychologically Healthy Workplaces” in the nation.
Rebecca shares Hilltop’s value of putting people first, and strives to promote a culture that values and promotes employee well-being at Hilltop and in the broader community. She is currently leading an initiative to bring low-cost wellness programming to other worksites, helping them build effective programs of their own.
